    :(

Whilst walking across to Ts just now the road was blocked off, ambulance, police etc
A young boy has just been knocked over :( he was so distraught :(

We have a pelican crossing 20 yards away to get to the back lane to Ts. Unfortunately not many cars stop when you are crossing on the 'green man' so it could be this is how he was knocked down.
Many a time we holler at a car that doesn't stop
    or
The more direct route is straight across the road, which is on a hill & blind bend
    I hope it's the first scenario ♥

Oh no :( I hope he's not badly hurt. Aren't some drivers downright dangerous? The crossing on the way to DS1 school is absolutely horrendous for people not stopping :( People just blindly drive through it despite there being crowds of children trying to get accross.

Logie, sorry to hear you've not been so good :A

Elsie, what an awful thing to happen!! :(

    Hugs to you both

Still not found in my nearest big store - may venture a bit further. Are they worth the effort please?

    Many thanks

Hi, My OH likes them although he says there not very filling, but you can add things to it.
Some people have had problems with them sticking to the foil tray when cooking, but someone on here (think it was David??) suggested that it was better to take it out of the foil, grease and put back in before cooking to avoid sticking.

I'm sure you are right. I need a holiday already! :D MSE was always my 'me time' and my lack of presence on here reflects exactly how little of that I have at the moment :(
I owe a huge amount to the lovely community here and think of you all often, even if I don't get online to say it :)

Yeah, I've been joking that it is the city germs that I'm not used to any more. DH working lots of overtime so home life busy too and not much opportunity for rest. Work not helping by rostering me onto daft shift patterns  Roll on the beginning of June when we're off to Yorkshire for a week :D Taking Mum and MIL so half decent chance of a lie in ;)
