Been to my new SADA but no chapatti, Napolina penne, ciabatta or blackberries :(. Was also very disappointed that the night cream didn't work. It should have compared £10 to £3 according to MSL.

7 items (6 different) on your bill qualify for comparison ASDA Tesco
    +£2.56

    1 x ASDA Cream Crackers (300g) £0.40 N/A
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Chicken Flavour Instant Noodles (6... £0.20 £0.20
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Instant Noodles Curry (65g) £0.20 £0.20
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Porridge Oats (1Kg) £0.75 £0.75
    1 x Nairn's Fine Milled Oat Cakes (218g) £0.80 N/A
    1 x OXO Stock Cubes Beef (24x6g) £2.00 £1.50
    1 x Walkers Doritos Cool Original (225g) £1.00 £1.00
2 x Simple Kind to Skin Vital Vitamin Night Cream (50m... £10.00 N/A
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Rubber Gloves Medium (2) £0.24 N/A
    2 x ASDA Carver Ham (250g) £5.00 £2.94

Also got lots of whoopsies this afternoon. They seem to do the reductions in the last hour or so of trading.

I have noticed in some stores that they store them at the side of the proper gift cards, and often put a stack of something on special offer over them. It maybe worth having a rummage

    :o:o:o:o

Thanks. I've checked there and even pushed a display stand out of the way to see what is there. It is very frustrating!!

Anyway this is my good news - at the moment I can't stop crying and sobbing so if anyone want a to join me please do, it will make me look slightly less demented if we form a chorus of wailing banshees.

My eldest son has been out on tour for the last six months, a black tour with no leave whatsoever, he went at the end of September 2013.

And finally he is on his way home, don't know the flight details but I had an email from him to say they are in the business lounge at Istanbul - so finally he is out of that ghastly place and on his way back - they don't get released until either Monday or Tuesday and even then he has a 5 hour drive but he is at least heading towards the Uk and landing sometime tonight.

So pleased at your good news. Must be so relieving to know he's safe.:D

Ah bless you no wonder you are crying you must be feeling so many emotions at the moment, relief, excitement and also the fact that you will be able to hold him and give him the biggest cuddle after what has been a very long 6months for you.I think all of us here who are Parents particularly Mums can feel your excitement and relief that he is on his way home:):):)

mhoc I'm choking on my tears and the hairs on the back of my neck are standing up.

They are always your babies whatever age they are.

I think all three of mine enjoy a dangerous lifestyle.

    In order of worry

1 Eldest daughter works in central London - random stabbings in the next street to where she works, no control over these things
2 Youngest son - climbs mountains for a living but at least he is well trained and competent
3 Eldest son - army but at least he has a concrete bunker to go to

    That's lovely, I really like it :j

    Thanks Laura :)

Ah mhoc that's brilliant news! Aren't happy tears the best? What plans do you have for when your son gets home?

I'm feeling pretty relieved. I was stressing about something work related that could have turned into a massive problem but I just sorted it. Feel like I can relax for the weekend now it's almost over :rotfl:
