Sorry to quote myself. If you wanted to give them something long-term, you could get them an adult bible. Get the New Jerusalem Bible, or the NRSV (New Revised Standard Version) but ensure it is the Catholic edition or it might have some books missing. But an adult bible is only a good idea if you think they will actually use it when they are older since they are unlikely to greet it with great joy now!
thanks :) the Oscar Romero crosses look good :)

Your body is probably adjusting after all the stress you've had over the last months. You've also been fairly busy dashing here there and everywhere and having family stuff on. I guess you're more exhausted than you realise. Listen to your body and slow down for a bit, get your energy levels back up. hug4.gif

Thanks guys, my osteoarthritis in my hands has flared up badly it has been good for years but pretty painful a the moment. I rested Saturday and it felt much better sunday but woke up yesterday in awful pain again. :( I am taking paracetamol but can't take over the counter anti inflammatory drugs. Was prescribed loads in my 30s that upset me and there is only one expensive one that hospital prescribed that doesn't cause me problems but my GP has a heart attack when I ask for it. :rotfl:

I stopped taking the tablets for my skin as it's looking fine now, and I know that was definitely a stress related problem but being on antibiotics for couple of months must have weakened my immune system had lovely red tonsils when I woke up yesterday morning.

I feel a bit flu like to be honest so I am sat here with my dressing gown on, I am exhausted. Mr TS did college run this morning. :A

It's probably not helping that it is the year anniversary tomorrow. :(

They charge £1 now for every day you are in your overdraft, whether it be by 50p or £500

They charged me once. I've made sure I stayed out of my overdraft since so they aint getting another penny out of me :D

    Robbing :mad::mad:

    Not worth using overdraft :)

Tm just having a little browse before my friend picks me up and noticed you got 40 Robinsons and wondered how many shops you did?tia

Four shops in 2 visits if that makes sense:)

I got 2 lots of 12 the first time using mainly APGs getting back about £10.60 twice.
    Then I used the 2 lots of £10.60 to get 2 x 8

So I spent very little real money.

Oh yes....bought Bertolli in the first 2 shoos:T

Don't know if it is any help Nanny but I got 12 bottles yesterday and it kept my APG under £10. Think I got about £9.50.

    Not worth using overdraft :)

It was so worth it, scrimping about for those few months trying not to go into my overdraft :)

When I go in there now, or have need to ring them about something, they are falling over themselves to "help" me. Offering me this and offering me that, and my simple answer is always "no".
