Dogs love having the trays chucked at them I think they enjoy it better than their own food. I always leave extra in mine for Poppy0 -

Kids all back at school so writing myself a checklist for today
So far it has 15 things on it
I've got to sort some cushioning to put under the sofa legs to stop them scratching the new floor. Any mse ideas? I really don't want to go out and buy anything
I use felt pads on the kitchen appliances, you can get them in places like Poundland, or you might need to get some of the cups you can get and put felt pads on those depending on your furniture. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I have carpet on the bottom of my sofa feet. I did have those felt pads but they didn't last too long......mostly because my sofa is really heavy and I'm obsessed with moving it to Hoover under it
So it now has pieces of carpet which are glued on with that really smelly glue that comes in a spray can. I can slide it around by myself as well without annoying anyone to help me0 -

Could you use old socks or do you have any left over carpet tiles/offcuts? We use old rugs under our sofas. If you do have to buy something, the pound shop usually have those stick on foam cushion circles or plastic cups to slip under the feet.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

Wish the solution was as easy for recliners on carpets. We have a nice deep carpet, and recliners with metal frames. Cannot find anything that will stay put under the sofas when I move them, so I have to lift them out of the carpet before I can actually move them :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Thanx nenen, FC & enterprise :T
Dh took the old carpet to the tip as it was really nasty ( was black on the underside from spilt drinks) but the sock idea is genius as we have tons of odd ones.
Also been reminded we have a box of old clothes for charity shop so must be something useful in there :j
FC those felt things you mentioned I agree are rubbish. The legs of this sofa are big and square so need something substantial under themHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
