    Good morning. Happy Easter :)

Discovered one of the problems of buying Easter eggs in early. Anyone remember the £2 for 12 Creme eggs in T. Well I bought 5 boxes in S for a BM. Could I find them last night? No, it took a good hour of going through the cupboards, but they turned up adventually. Note to self - you must really thing about stashing the stash in a more alphabetical order with index cards for easy locating. :D

Have two of those in the spare room waiting for a visit from son and his fiancee tomorrow. They were in my present cupboard on top of the Christmas and beside the birthday :D

Raining here, must be a Bank Holiday.

Went to the shortest queue in Tes co yesterday with a trolley full of coke and Whiskas, and got a very attractive twenty something cashier. She proceeded to explain (more than once) how I would be better buying three packs of Wh1skas, and that I should only really buy one bowl. I relied on my old faithful, "the wife sends a list, and I follow it", its the first time I've been looked at with genuine pity as though I was a doddering fool. I thought she was never going to press that button.
Second time round her colleague, took my £7.80 and said"heres your receipt, and £7 off next time" pause................"thats odd".
    Thankyou, bye.

    Good morning :)

Still sunny here :D The eggs have been cracked open by the kids and there's pudding bowls full of broken chocolate everywhere. Always makes me smile somehow :D

Busy day for us, both DS2 and DD have things on so lots of driving around for me.

Hope you all have a wonderful day

I was too chicken to face the 'that's odd scenario' so did all my cat food shops on self scan!
Do you think it would be a bit suspicious if I paid for next weeks £40 shop with my £5 HH and 5x £7 PPs?!

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!
