Morning all, Happy Easter EGGS everyone :j :D :j :D

creamcake 7, I just seen your post. It may be worthwhile getting the full details for the Alton towers vouchers that are needed, and posting the info up on here.

I have checked my boxes and the later date ones do not have the offer on, but I have several that do. I will not be using them and I would be more than happy to send them off direct to the person/department responsible for collecting the vouchers.

There would probably be quite a lot of folks who have some spare and would be happy to do the same for such a good cause :)

I have some. Been very lazy I was going to ebay them. The ones I have are a free adult per paying child.

    Are these of use creamcake7??

Seems like my lazyiness might pay off
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)

Have two of those in the spare room waiting for a visit from son and his fiancee tomorrow. They were in my present cupboard on top of the Christmas and beside the birthday :D

So organised, most of the stuff just stays in the bags and get piles on top of the last glitch stuff. The Special K cereal boxes are quiet flat. :rotfl:

What is the concensus on laptop screens, touch screens versus not touch screens.

Could do with a bit of help please I promised DD3 she could have a laptop now we can afford one.

She has found an Asus at PC World she likes.

    http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/asus-x550ca-xx249h-15-6-laptop-21836943-pdt.html

Does this look a good deal. Apparently processor is a good one.

I have seen a similar red one on Ts direct £30 cheaper but it's touch screen.

Raining here, must be a Bank Holiday.

Went to the shortest queue in Tes co yesterday with a trolley full of coke and Whiskas, and got a very attractive twenty something cashier. She proceeded to explain (more than once) how I would be better buying three packs of Wh1skas, and that I should only really buy one bowl. I relied on my old faithful, "the wife sends a list, and I follow it", its the first time I've been looked at with genuine pity as though I was a doddering fool. I thought she was never going to press that button.
Second time round her colleague, took my £7.80 and said"heres your receipt, and £7 off next time" pause................"thats odd".
    Thankyou, bye.

I like it now T have introduced the till roll printer toward the end of the checkout. If using a normal checkout I give the SS handfuls of change if possible. By the time they have put it all in the till. I'm half way to the door pp and receipt in hand. :D
