rhosyn that's wonderful news. I know May isn't that far off but where grandchildren are concerned it's so muchnicer to see them sooner.
Have a fabulous Tuesday with them x

Think Tosco might've caught on as I bought 5 bottles of wine @5.99 and one @5.99 but reduced from 7.99 and 8.99 was taken off as 25% discount not 9.49 iyswim therefore discount based on ACTUAL price of wine. x

It's always been like that - the double discount only works if you can find any more expensive wines in a3 for £12 or 2 for £12 deal. Then it's discounted on the full, higher price.

Sorry about the smelly "cat" joke. But I had to. Even the woman at the till was like !!!!!!!

Do any of you buy food and drink from Aldi/Lidl? I am sure you do. I was just wondering if they are like branded products or are they actually cheap and nasty? I saw shed loads of people buying bread and margarine and cheese and every other staple under the sun at Aldi today and was just wondering what you guys thought about their products if you have tried them?

Nothing cheap or nasty about Lidless/Aldi stuff - it's all pretty good. Unfortunately I prefer to use the really cheap discount stores such as Tesco and Asda !

I buy quite a bit in Lidls and found nothing cheap and nasty They do sell a small portion of known brands and the rest of the food I would say is on par with Ts or As own brand stuff but cheaper also I find the fruit and veg better quality
