OMG last night I transferred £4000 out of my Santander isa account into my current account ready to move over to TSB. All of the account number, sort code etc were correct but Santander have lost it :eek:

It has left Santander but hasn't made it to lloyds. Just had a very un satisfactory conversation with Santander who have firstly tried to tell me that it's not their fault if the payment was made online. I could maybe understand it if I had made a mistake but since all the information was entered correctly I am furious. Anyway I have to ring back in the morning to speak to the missing payments team but needless to say I have lodged a complaint and won't be getting much sleep tonight :mad:

Off to catch up after a day out and about :o

The funds have until midnight tonight to get there. Until then you have no reason for a complaint and no need to be furious :)

It will almost certainly be delayed by 16 hours for a security check especially if it was the first transfer to the Lloyds account.

The faster payment system does not guarantee all payments will be received within two hours (it's about 95%). The other 5% arrive next day.

I just want to say a huge thank you to the people that sent me messages of support and for your kind posts earlier.

I've never visited this thread before ( I only came in today after I saw a really good post from a regular ), but on a difficult day for me you have put a smile on my face.

It's great to see such a popular thread on MSE without the usual trolls and troublemakers.

What a great bunch of people :)

Sorry to be late to thank you rudekid.......I'm another one who read your post with tears and passed to DH to read....we were both quiet for a while.
Your words were powerful and helped us to share your pain.

Thank you for posting....and I am another one who hopes you will stick around.

I am waiting on some Sada e vouchers from a shop done last week, and i have just been to pick another shop up, can someone please tell me when i can check the APG on the shop i have just picked up please?
If i check it now, will it interfere with the other evouchers i am expecting?
    tia
don't listen to bubbs or nerfy

if you have already done the shop, and are still under the £100 limit you can check the apg as soon as it shows you can. always apply for voucher before you do another shop. I have 3 shops from the last 7 days to get vouchers from.
best not to do 2 cc on the same day though as it has a tendency to combine the shops.

now do I go back and get the guns out for bubbs lol

Don't worry it will turn up; it can take upto 24 hours as Santander like to do 'security checks'.

Chances are if you check in a few hours it will be there.

    If not, try tomorrow morning.

It's a well known issue with Santander payments.
