We'll I can change a tyre and I could do before I even passed my driving test. Im of the opinion that general stuff like this should be part of the driving test :D I
I have had a flat in the middle of nowhere before....with no mobile signal, more than once! So I was very glad to be able to sort it out myself! I think if you drive a car, it's a skill you should have, I taught my son to do it before he passed his test too.

See, we can club together on here and taken together we all have the 100 skills!:rotfl: I should have it, but I don't and, with me, sadly I may be 'taught' it, but it's one of those things I forget and never remember or 'know' how to do when it's needed to be done again. I have a deficient of those kinds of things in those areas. How to restart a boiler too (though they didn't ask about that?). And no... I can't change a light bulb!:o:o:o:o:o

In fact, yes, I've a vague idea as to how to change a tyre, getting jack out etc., but as to actually changing one in practice, in RL - no, I wouldn't even ever risk it as I'd be (sadly) likely not to set the jack up right and it'll fall onto me and risk serious injury if not death. So - I know my limitations and certainly aren't going to be silly enough to risk where things like that are concerned. Leave it to the 'experts'. Alright, most people can change a tyre perhaps or it's something a skill drivers should have but, for me, it'll leave it safely to the garage (and no serious harm done).:)

Society, in general. The way 'most' people do it (which doesn't have to reach 50% but merely be the 'common' way. Or 'a' common way).

But that said, I would think that more people fold fitted sheets the way I do, rather than the 'proper' way. :)

But that doesn't make it the proper way that just makes it the way most people do it.
What is the proper way to make a cup of tea?

Im just glad I don't know if I can throw a punch or not :rotfl::rotfl: I can honestly say I have never tried or wanted to. As for cooking eggs three different ways......I know you can but I personally haven't :o

We are all different and how boring would it be if we weren't? :)
