Thank you streetlights for the bump *tips hat*

Rose well done on your new job. I remember how low you were about the stuff with your sis so this made me really happy to read.

So I've missed a glitchy day then? :D

Thanks really pleased. My sis continues to be a !!!!! but this time she made my Mum cry when she visited her in hospital.

Well I know I don't do fitted sheets....or any other sheets correctly. I get a whole bedding set (quilt cover, 2 sets pillow cases and whatever sort of sheet) and put it inside one one of the pillow cases) easy to find and no raking around to find what matches what. My bedding cupboard has loads of pillow cases stuffed with full bedding sets :D

Perhaps this forum could turn into a 'life skills' guide and with step-by-step (and absolutely clear and precise and completely unambiguous) instructions as to how to do these things and I can then learn:D:):).

I totally agree Savvy. Perhaps Fairclaire could start off by doing us a video of her ironing so we can observe and learn ;):D

We are all individuals with our own strengths and weaknesses. It's not important to measure ourselves against others....just feel happy in your own skin.

Now ....have you tried that pink salmon or not:rotfl:

Yes, as it happens! From that previous occasion when M was £1 (more than a year before) when I bought 10 tins! And from the ones that T paid me to take before then under the DTD price-check:D.

Sewing, no. Cooking, I think I answered that as 'yes' - as it was a simple meal. But as for cooking pasta...:o. I can't change a tyre to save my life either, but then I don't need to, I just get the garage to replace any tyres that would become a problem when I have my car more generally checked:):).

We'll I can change a tyre and I could do before I even passed my driving test. Im of the opinion that general stuff like this should be part of the driving test :D I
I have had a flat in the middle of nowhere before....with no mobile signal, more than once! So I was very glad to be able to sort it out myself! I think if you drive a car, it's a skill you should have, I taught my son to do it before he passed his test too.
