I would have asked him to show me how I could change things that have already been printed off or even better, how he would have done things to avoid this problem? ... He obviously has the answer, after all ?
there is a line you must not cross but there is also a line you are entitled to draw about how you are treated .. if your boss crosses that line , he/she could find themselves in serious trouble..
