Complaining about a charity

[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]
There was no reason for you to join in this thread, the OP asked how to make a complaint, he was advised how to do this. He / She appears to have gone out of their way not to give any further details to identify the charity.
You've then joined the thread and identified the charity and given details about the poster they would no doubt prefer to be kept confidential.
If you had any sense you would have either left the thread alone and then await the complaint from the OP or monitor the thread and then post an anonymous reply without going into detail.
The poster has been on MSE for a long time and may now not wish to return after what you posted, there may well be posts in their past that may identify them.
You've contacted MSE, you should not be posting under a business or similar name, I suspect MSE will delete all of your posts and the posts replying to them leaving just the original advice given by posters on how to make a complaint. Which ironically is what would have been left if you had not posted.
Maybe worth thinking before you post and if you do post to be more selective with what and how you post0 -

If you want to be a rep for your organisation, you need to email MSE to ask permission first. I've reported your first post to them for this reason.0 -

Why do you need to 'tell us the full story'? You've shown a complete lack of judgement by posting on this thread.0 -
Im probably going to be in the minority here, but well done to the charity for coming on here and providing a few extra details. Its always nice to hear another side to the story0

Certainly helped in explaining the situation.0 -
I will send the charity my official complaint tonight.
I asked the RSPCA to liaise for reasons that have already become obvious, unfortunately they informed me they didn't perform this service. I'm not going to get involved arguing with the charity on here, so please don't expect me to.0 -

That should have been your first step IMHO. Not posting on forums, not PMing MSE members with details and not approaching the RSPCA. You, first and foremost should have put your complaint(s) in writing to the people concerned.0 -
Ignore the wind up merchants
I believe you should inform the RSPCA of this charities behaviour on this forum0 -

Exactly, the RSPCA have nothing to do with this and could be viewed as a competitor with an axe to grind.0
