Hi Gents,
Don't fully understand.....what is the identifying information on this notice; I've removed the parking charge notice.
I think I need to read the information on the BPA's code of practice. Do you expect there will be any information pertaining to classification of a parking bay?
cheers0 -
No I have already told you, parking on private land is unregulated, which means they can make up any rules they like, and they make new ones everyday to entrap people in their little scam
The identifying stuff is the car images, ticket number, time and date of the ticket, barcodes and so on. Read my signature belowWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

So, if I choose to completely ignore this I understand I may end up slapped with a £300 fine? and if I choose to appeal (I am allowed another 14 days to do this per the final reminder) they will choose to continue action against me. Catch 22 then, I guess. What is my best course of action now considering I ripped up the original NTK?

You haven't been fined though, this is a private company coming along with fake tickets, fake signs, fake everything, even their po box is fake. This will never ever go to court, because as it stands ukpc have never been to a small claims, well unless THEY are being sued!

I have recently been helping my niece deal with a parking charge notice from UKPC and she received a Final Reminder which looks very similiar to the one you posted.
On the reverse is a paragraph headed Contesting this Parking Charge which gave 14 days to submit an appeal.
If the Final Reminder you have received says the same you need to follow the information Redx gave you in post #2 regarding appealing the NtK
i.e read the sticky NEWBIES thread re. how to appeal an NtK (including a template 1st appeal) and see the flowchart linked in post #9 to understand the process.0 -
Many thanks.
I understood the current recommendation is to contact them with a standard template letter requesting POPLA. Now I'm confused whether or not to ignore the final reminder.

Also - although she appealed at the NtK stage - she just used the template 1st appeal - less than 3 weeks later the charge was cancelled.0

The NEWBIES thread covers 'if you think you are too late to appeal' as well. Basically, send the template letter!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
