Newbie Seeks Assistance - UKPC notice

Good Evening All,
Been lurking here for a while and picked up some good information. Was hoping someone could help me with a specific enquiry concerning a recent parking incident at Middlebrook Retail Park, Bolton. The car park in question serves as a generic parking area for a number of restaurants and shops and is controlled by UKPC.
Please find the pictures below pertaining to the case where my wife was out shopping. The top 2 links (pictures) were taken by my wife on her phone after the incident. The lower 3 links (pictures) have been presented by UKPC and are taken from their site.
At the time of the incident a windscreen notification was left which was promptly tore up (rightly or wrongly). Next I received a notification through the post asking for the drivers details which I tore up (once again, rightly or wrongly). Finally, I received the notification letter at the bottom of this message designated 'final reminder'......this is the very last link on this post.
Clearly, UKPC seem to think that the drainage grid can be used to designate a parking space. For your information, the grid is not even painted white. This cannot be lawful, can it?
Any advice on how to deal with this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.
Tony
Edit: it would seem a new user cannot post links is there anyway around this?

the law doesnt apply here if its private land , apart from the unfair terms and conditions act , pofa 2012 etc
the fact is that this should have been appealed when the NTK came through , as per the details in the NEWBIES sticky thread and the flowchart in post #9
the pictures may or may not be relevant but you would not know unless you appealed and they were rules upon
in most cases its not a gpeol or no contract that wins a popla appeal, but sometimes signage can do so too
but by not appealing you are playing into their hands , as you are by leaving it until its too late (a very common mistake)0 -

Did you spot the NEWBIES sticky at the top of this forum's first page? Most, if not all you need is covered there, certainly to set the wheels in motion for you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Drop the http://www part of the links, host the images on tinypic.com , but it's not going make any difference as parking on private land is unregulated, they make it up as they go along. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
