UKPC parking charge and incorrect location details

Posts: 1 Newbie
My wife parked outside a clients house in an estate which is managed by UKPC. The parking charge is for 'Parked on Pavement', which is incorrect because there is no curb and it is the same level as the road, and tarmac. The ticket also put the location as Whitstable Road, which is actually the main public highway from which you have to turn off in order to get into the estate. All the roads in the estate have specific names, none of which are Whitstable Road. The photographic evidence does show the car parked in the state, but there are no sign posts to identify the location. With these incorrect details I don't think they have a leg to stand on. We now have the NTK letter. So do I just soft appeal quite clearly pointing out that they cant issue a parking charge for a location which is a public highway?
Thanks
Thanks

use the soft appeal template in the NEWBIES sticky thread, but also point out its not relevant land as its the public highway (if you are 100% sure its a public road and not private , which means they havent identified the correct road)
if they reject your appeal, use a standard popla appeal and point this out as an additional point, but stating all the usual ones too
ie:- treat it as an invoice , dont get too hung up on the wording but always mention inaccuracies0 -

Stick with the tried and tested wording for the simple 2-stage appeal. At POPLA stage we win every time, 100% record, so follow the NEWBIES thread including how to win at POPLA in due course and you'll be fine, just like all these newbies were:

HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Forget about everything that you have written above, it's totally irrelevant. UKPC have issued a fake PCN which is easily appealed and overturned at POPLA. You need to challenge their legal basis for issuing their charges, not minor details like what they write on their tickets. UKPC have form for accidently on purpose getting the ticket details wrong;

Now follow the excellent advice you have been given and appeal the ticket in the normal way.All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Edmund Burke Irish orator, philosopher, & politician (1729 - 1797).0
