important changes to your t-mobile phone plan

Hi all,
I got a letter today dates 7/4/14 regarding 'important changes to your t-mobile phone plan', notifying increase of 2.7%. it would be effective from 28th May, 2014. I took out the contract on Jan5, 2013.
I sopke to customer care, disconnected twice and third time, continued to say she can't hear me. Also she says that t-mobile can increase call charges as it is part of price plan.
Can I cancel on the basis of increase in call charges and SMS charges ( specifically IDD increasing from 20p to 25p, an increase of 25%) have material impact and should be allowed to cancel penality free.
Thanks
Spark

    I got same letter today
I took out a 12 month sim only deal in December
Surely an inflationary rise can only be applied after 12 month's? The RPI figure is based on the previous 12 month's and I have only had this sim 4 months so any increase is unwarranted and I considered they have tricked me
    What are my options?
