Travel Insurance for teenager with pre-existing medical condition

My daughter and granddaughter are going to Florida in May and as my granddaughter has Ulcerative Colitis, has had an ileostomy earlier this year and has a stoma, the cheapest travel insurance my daughter can find for both of them is £350. As my granddaughter is 15 years old, I understand she cannot get travel insurance on her own.

Has anyone had a similar problem and can come up with some advice on cheaper travel insurance which would cover pre-existing conditions, or even a bank account which would do the same.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
