Stop jumping too far ahead. There are many rivers to cross before any 'court'. And it's not 'court' as in a murder trial. You won't be facing any Oscar Pistorius style prosecution cross examination.

So, please re-read my post #7 ....... and get on with your studies.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

lol - cropped up on a search I was doing :)

The advice you've been given is good advice. The forum has an excellent success record at helping people get these charges cancelled and they don't have to pay a penny.

Chances are you'll not hear anything further but if they do realize their mistake you will be able to get this cancelled.

You have better things to be doing with your time right now but if you still need convincing - Use the Search the Forum function - put in the search term UKCPS and you will find dozens and dozens of successful appeals over just the last few months.

As Umkomaas has said, I'm wary they'll put in the effort to eventually track it back to me. I've read/heard that often don't bother to push further with invalid tickets/lack of evidence cases etc. But as a first-time ticket receiver I'm unsure! IF this did eventually did get tracked down to me and then summoned to court, would I have a leg to stand on? And that's given they even find me in time, you mentioned PoFA, there's a time limit?

    :)

As already advised, this is a straightforward case of waiting for the NTK then if one arrives, you win it using our template 2 stage appeal wording. I was shocked to read you say that you...{shudder}...'went online to pay the fee'.
