    What's a sky box ?

    This update is taking me forever (9.8kbps MODEM) - Does MS really expect me to finish today ?
    It is stuck at 3% and has been for 2 hours !!

    You think you have problems my 1200/75 baud modem ihas been downloading Where eagles dare for a week now and no sign of it finishing, and I can't use the telephone.

    I was being serious though - we don't have broadband where I live - I am stuck in the middle ages !!

    Note that the current release has a couple of issues with update1.
    The Beta works fine (but that's only available to existing modernmix license owners).

    Can't have a modern app window open on the desktop as far as I can find.
    Window? No, but you've always been able to have them in colunms off to the side (are they called panes?) and in 8.1 the sizing of them became more flexible. Handy for me for example, on a widescreen, with a browser window, a Twitter pane and a Skype pane. Try that on a tablet!
