More pettiness on their part.

This was PE v Pointer in Coventry, April 10th:-

"PE argued he had not entered reg properly. Mr Pointer had the ticket with him, which showed the old machines were still in use and only digits could be entered, not letters.
He also had a new ticket, showing the differences.

After lengthy grilling on this sole point by the judge, judge believed Mr Pointer and not Ms PE."

Do we have a case number for this one so I can add it to the successful small claims defended?

And (sorry different PPC) does anyone have the court details of the VCS one that they lost last week re two or three tickets?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It was Sheffield County Court, 3QZ64216, VCS v Finn and it was for 8 tickets.

All of which was reported in full at the time, ISTR.

    Do keep up, C-M!!

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

It is getting hard to keep up !
As parking Eye hit the thick of defended cases they are losing hand over fist.
Each one costing them the thick end of at least £500.

I must admit, this vendetta is absolute front row stuff.
    Be happy...;)

I am struggling to keep up with it all - and am away for the weekend from tomorrow! Though I say so myself, I think I am doing well to be on here at all tonight in between packing for our little family jaunt.

    :)

    Nite all!

Have you had permission for your absence? Who's covering the night shift?

Have a nice 'break'. If anyone on here deserves one - you do. Enjoy it.

Back to terrorising PPC-world next week, I presume?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
