Thanks guys.
Hope everyone is well.
I'm struggling to keep on top of everything atm, hence the sporadic presence on here. I have the best of intentions tho, so please bear with me. One of my jobs finishes next month, and I should have finished teaching/marking also so back to jobs 1 and 2 only, and trying to keep it that way.....must SAY NO!
On the money front, it has been a very expensive month. Car tax / MOT, insurance renewals (all paid in full and saved for but still...ouch), birthdays, anniversaries etc. We even had a night out (unheard of for us) which cost over £100. At least I felt the pang of parting with that much money for food / drink, and won't be doing that again in a hurry!
There have been rumbles of job uncertainty at job 1 (my main one) which is making me a bit more cautious about overpaying. I think it would be sensible to build up at least 3mths costs (which I've been trying to do anyway) and maybe 6mths given my DH's wages which don't cover costs unfortunately. I know we could cut back more if needed, and I do feel a plan coming on, but need a bit of head space first, and a bit more time!
Have to head off to work shortly, but wanted to say that I've been missing you all, and send all my love and hugs.
Oh...btw Lilty - roasted Kale with sesame seeds is literally a full tray of raw kale, two-three cloves of crushed garlic, olive oil then put in a hot oven. Stir after 10 mins, then again (it will go crispy on the outside so keep moving around). After 20 mins either toast the sesame seeds in a pan and add, or put raw in the tray and give it another 10-20 mins.
Soooo gorgeous.
I'm obsessed with it

Lovely to see you back! You are missed and thought of aplenty.
Sounds like things are manic as always with you and you are very sensible. Don't sweat the night out. We all need something like that once in a blue moon and I NEVER go outbut have a few things coming up soon that I am going to spend on and not care
Much love and hugs! xx

Thanks guys - you are all so awesome (I hope you know that already)
Things haven't calmed down much, and I've been asked to carry on working at Job 4 for an extra 3 days per month; doesn't sound a lot, but it means at least two 6 day weeks out of every 4. I've decided to say yes, due to the chance to pay off more loan prior to our upcoming remortage later in the year. I think that, and the completion of my student loan payments, should give us a better chance, and we are going to have a re-survey to take into account our home improvements, hoping to get our LTV from 90 to at least 80. It's worth a try
In other news, I've lost over 3 stone in the last 4mths which I'm really pleased about. DH has also lost a similar amount. Just need to keep going and am hoping that I don't lose willpower.
Sending hugs to all
