    Hi,

Thanks all for the lovely messages. Really appreciate it!

Well things are thankfully settling down a bit here; really behind with work / budgeting / house stuff but will try and put a plan in place to tackle the highest priorites first, and eventually plough through the rest.

The most important thing is that mum is now at home and feeling better in herself. Despite the fact that there are a lot of ongoing stresses / worries in relation to this, I am very grateful and relieved overall :)

I haven't managed to get everything up to date in YNAB but don't think we've gone too far over despite the main expense which has been convenience foods of one type or another. DH leaves the job from hell this week, so we can't afford (literally) to stray too far from the MSE path. We are also refocusing on our diet / health, and I have been to the hospital myself today for tests, so know that I need to start looking after myself better (more invasive horrible tests to come; not looking forward to it but fingers crossed it'll be worth it in the end).

Time to go and put the kettle on, settle down for an hour with a brew to read diaries, and then get back to the reports!

I really hope that everyone else is doing well. I've really missed reading / 'talking' with fellow MSE'ers and have a lot to catch up on!

    Gib x

How wonderful that your mum is back home.

Home is the best place to be, so I'm sure she feels happier for it.

Hope she continues to make improvements.

Don't forget to look after yourself too, it's so easy to neglect your own health when a loved one is ill, so be kind to yourself too.

Yay!! Gib this is fantastic news. Everytime my mum has come into my thoughts, I've sent a little prayer for your mum too (despite not being 'religious' :)) Obviously positive vibes are working!

Lovely to see you back and glad hubby has not got long left before he can breathe out and relax!! MSE ways will come when everything settles down & I am sure you've kept on top of it.

Sorry to hear about tests and invasive ones to come. It is all worthwhile if they can figure things out and get you on the right path hun :) just not very nice in the meantime. Take care of yourself please... :)
