AppleCare Protection Plan

I bought the AppleCare protection plan last year for my iPhone 4s, which I purchased in 2012. This insurance expires on 10 May 2014.
I have been glad of this cover as I had two phones develop problems in the last few months due to faulty wifi chips. Apple replaced the phones immediately.
I have just upgraded to an iPhone 5s and am considering insurance. As the Apple plan covers battery replacement as well as loss/damage etc, would it be wise to take out the insurance immediately or wait until the two-year warranty expires? I have to option to take out insurance with o2 but this seems rather expensive for the cover I would get.
Advice would be appreciated.

Are you sure?...the Apple plan covers battery replacement as well as loss/damage etc,
AFAIK, AppleCare+ does cover damage, but not loss etc.
You are the only one who knows what you need to have covered by insurance, but I don't think it's wise to pay for the same benefits twice.would it be wise to take out the insurance immediately or wait until the two-year warranty expires?
Personally, I don't buy any insurances except the compulsory ones.0 -

Considering you only have a very small window (30 days from purchase IIRC) to buy the AppleCare+ now, it would be wise to buy it while it is still actually possible to do so (if you do want it).
PS: AppleCare+ doesn't cover loss.====0
