I just called to try and get a better deal- no dice. I have a 10 year old stem driven box, no pause/record facility etc, and am paying £35 for the privilege! A new custmer can get the same package, but with an all singing/all dancing box for £27!!! They didn't want to know and just offered to cancel my deal altogether!Debt-free...and staying that way...0

To get any decent deals you must say you want to cancel, and then you get put through to cancellations, who are in reality retentions. Only they have the power to cut deals, not the tier one drones whom you first get through to.No free lunch, and no free laptop
