Visiting salesman offered a free deal on cavity wall insulation through British Gas free scheme. Said I'd look into it. Firstly read that the scheme is for people on benefits, then I called the Green Deal Awards company and was told it is a new CEIR project for detached houses and everything (surveyor etc) is absolutely free....Any information about this? It is not covered on Money saving website.

Hello, its a part of ECO depending on where you live it will be covered either by CERO or CISCO go to any green deal installer and they should give you a free survey and let you know if it will be free or not (they don't actually know until the survey has been completed)"talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0
