Looking for reliable broadband- not Post Office!

After 3 or more years with the Post Office, the last couple of months have been a nightmare. Not only has the connection become unreliable, but the technical support dept has wasted a lot of our time as we try to get back online, with several misleading judgements on where the faults are and the way to fix them. We have had 2 new routers in the last 3 weeks and they are both substandard to the one they were replacing. They seem to have started selling their customers cheap.
So, we aren't just looking for a cheap home phone and broadband deal, but a solid service too. (After all, our time is money as well!)
We'd love to hear any suggestions for the best mix of service and access. Thanks

Plusnet for me and it always comes out high in customer service reports .0

Thanks JJ, I'll have a look at them right away. It occurs to me that reliability is split into 2 parts: the network, which is either Virgin fibre or BT, and the equipment (router) the ISP provides or you buy yourself.0

Sorry I cant wait until May so I can leave PlusNet. Ever since I joined PlusNet 2 years I have had connection problems, maybe its not them but on the second year I had 10gb and found it was not enough so I signed up for an extra boost so I thought I had unlimited but they signed me up for another year @ £30.50 even tho my first year had not ended, and when I queried? it they would not budge so I am off, may go back to Talk Talk or even Tesco. that's my opinion about PlusNet.The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0
