Because I use more eleccy than the "typical" user the new OVO tariff is ~ £25 pa cheaper for me vs the previous 12 month fix that I'm transferring to currently from EDF. I'll be interested to see if others in my position are "allowed" to switch to the new deal by OVO without penalty.

Just worked my difference out and it's 15 quid. I reckon if you ring up they will probably do it in the interests of keeping your custom in the future, especially as it is quite a small amount.

Normally I would ring up and ask, but don't want to risk the cashback offer so will just stick with it.

Obviously big regional differences eg on mine leccy unit price £0.1208 down to £0.1190 -about 3-4 times the difference.:(

Well I'm out of the cooling period and having just got off the phone they confirmed they cannot transfer me over even as a gesture of goodwill. Mind you it would only have saved me £13 per annum.

Just had to pay EDF £85 extra by card because my DD hasn't covered the winter period obviously and OVO DD is set for £85 per month. Now I only have to pay balance of £20 over next 28 days to them.

    Expensive month :(:(:(
