It's pretty boring doing work on the house in silence. I notice there's not nearly the selection of radios as there used to be the last time i looked (which would be well over 10yrs ago now).
I quite fancy the idea of one of these DAB radios. It'd have to be mains powered as i don't want to be messing about with batteries. I'd also like decent sound output but i'm not talking about silly mega-bass.
Not looking to spend a months wage either. Something fairly cheap that fits the bill will do me nicely.
Can you recommend anything?

If you have a smart phone you can get all the DAB stations you want, plus loads more
How about a decent docking station for your phone if you have a smart one?0

The only choice for the rock fan is the Pure Evoke Marshall.
Its built to give a little extra volume, if you need it the control goes up to eleven.
Seriously, the Pure range is pretty good.

Pure radios are good. I have 2. Think cheapest one was about £35, but well worth it. Used to have cheap no brand one, but that stopped working after about a year - very poor quality.0

I have just realised that my Evoke Mio is 2 years old on Sunday.
I bought one like this, but teal coloured.

I think the previous poster meant - all of the DAB stations are available online, so why not stream 'the DAB stations' from the internut and avoid hassles with interference, patchy DAB signal areas, etc.?0
