Out of contract with Three; their spiel
Hi everyone,
I've been out of contract with Three for a while now, and a couple of times when I've called them to get my PAC code, they've asked where I was moving to. I pointed them at a Carphonewarehouse deal that looked good, and the operator said I shold read the small print, as the contract has the option to bump up the prices. It was justified by them by pointing out the main networks don't list deals this good on their site. Whether this was a scare tactic or not, I wasn't sure. After a bit of investigation I found this text on the agreement "Changing charges and terms - We may change or introduce new charges. If we increase our charges, we'll publish the changes on our website and give you at least 14 days' notice. "
This seems to suggest an increase is something they can apply without any redress. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
There's a great looking deal over at e2save - the new HTC One M8 at £33 a month (unltd sms+mins, 1gb data). Has anyone any recent experience with e2save that might be relevant?
Cheers!

'Three' are notorious for telling lies to their customers.
CPW and other dealers can offer cheaper contracts then major networks because they share with customers huge commission they are getting from networks.
All networks have a habit of increasing prices, although the price rise is usually capped by the RPI. 'Three' were not an exception: MSE News: 'Misleading' Three ad didn't spell out potential mobile price rises. Don't know if they changed recently.
However, things are changing now:
Phone firm hiking prices? You'll soon be able to dump it, penalty-free0
