The tree is a Scotch Pine and around 80years old, the houses were built around them so the foundations will of been built to withstand these trees. He said the reason the tree leans is because of the way it has grown towards the light? Anyway he said he would have no concerns about it and the best thing to do is monitor it, if we see any movement towards the house or ground movement then we can apply to the council for it to come down, he did say if there is any danger of the tree moving then it's classed as dangerous and there is nothing the council can do to stop us doing work on it.
All in all I am happy and my concerns have been put to rest.
You do realise that if there is a yes vote in September you will have to give it back

We have to be nice to new members, but I am finding it very hard in your case. Urging someone to break the law is not on.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
