Incorrect email from Thompson

Hi all,
The other week I received an email from Thompson holidays confirming a holiday booking - but I have booked no holiday! I have the customer details, passenger details, address and holiday dates of these passengers. I alerted the store concerned immediately and after a while on hold they just thanked me for letting them know and asked me to delete the email.
Would you advise I wrote to head office to alert them to the issue - this is surely a breech of data protection - makes me wonder what could happen if the details got into the wrong hands!!

Most likely the original booker used the wrong email address which happened to be yours. If this case there is no breach of the DPA.0

Yes that is possible - the main passenger has my first name but a different surname. The other passengers have my surname so perhaps some confusion there led to it being inputted incorrectly. Thanks.0

Thomson Holidays
If you were making a lame grammar/spelling error inference, then it was - well - lame.

Just one example.
You mean like the whole street does when they see you leave with suitcases?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
The street wouldn't know how long you'd be away, or even if it was the house owner going away as opposed to taking someone to the airportOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0
