Hi All
Just bought a gorgeous Samsung U600, do I still have to charge it for 16 hours, its only been about 10 and it says fully charged? Also does it matter if the sim card is in or not when its the first charge.
Many thanks

Apparenlt you should always charge any new phone for about 17 hours the first time. I always do, even though I did peek at the last two and they said half-charged or more. It's to do with the memory and the newness of the battery.0

Thanks very much, I shall leave it overnight. The last Sumsung we had my son took it off charge after about 8 hours and that phone has a very short battery life.
Much appreciated0
