Are you in credit or is there a debt on the account. It could be that you were underpaying previously and the £365 it to bring your account into credit and pay for future use.0

As tberry6686 points out it may be that the supplier are clawing back a previous debit?
Either way we'd also need to know how the £365 is calculated to really judge this - eg. what is the price per litre they are using for the LPG and how many litres are they therefore saying you'll be using in a year? There will also be a daily standing charge.
I think the average price per litre for LPG is around 45p (incl. VAT) right now but typically direct debit users pay a small premium over the market rate as the supplier claim they are doing you a favour by allowing you to spread out the cost over the year.
Let's say though that your rate is 45ppl so £365 per month would equate to 811 litres per month / 9,700 litres per year! You'd be looking at stately home territory to get through that much! I suspect the average use is more like 1500-2500 year. But then again I suspect they may be trying to fob you off with a MUCH higher pence per litre - 60-80 pence per litre is not unheard of.
Definitely worth your while looking into this further. I'm afraid to report though that the LPG market is rather dysfunctional to say the least and I say that from personal experience ...0
