    I cannot locate them.

    Hi,

    Sort code = 40-27-15
    Account number = 12440040

You will need to quote your unique 10 digit reference number with this.

And that's honestly not his own sort code and account number ;)

All that's going to happen is that I transfer the money out of their account.

I had my bank transfer payment returned to my bank last week and a letter saying the product is now closed to further investments. Phoned and was told the rate is now 1.30%

I'm fairly new to the ISA game(2 years|) and not the most financially minded person so can anyone answer a quick question. Can I open another account somewhere else and transfer the Leeds money in at a later date or would I be better transferring it in when I open a new one? Will the Leeds one still be considered as ISA money even if I open a new one?

    Hi Ostaragirl,

It is ISA money regardless of whether you open another ISA account elsewhere. Since Leeds no longer offers the best market rate on this account and they do not allow further subscriptions, my opinion is to open a new ISA account elsewhere - immediately. Just look at the 'best buys' ISA tables on this site and the forums and chose one that suits your needs / situation, and one that accepts transfers in from previous providers. Then transfer your Leeds ISA out to your new ISA provider immediately, using an ISA transfer request form from your new provider. Then make your subscriptions to that new ISA account. In effect, you will be closing the Leeds ISA by doing this.

    Regards

Thank you for the advice, I'll get on it now. I have to say it was an OK ISA while it lasted, was quite happy with the interest.

    Morning all,

I actually want to do the opposite of what everyone else have been discussing on here.

I want to transfer my ISA from Leeds to another bank and want to know if the account number given the same as the roll number?

The account number I'm talking about is the specific one for my ISA and not the 12440040 for Leeds Building Society.

    Hi Redzhell,

Not sure what you mean by ' doing the opposite', I guess what you mean is you wish to transfer your money out of Leeds Online Bonus ISA to another ISA provider offering a better rate?

Anyway, whatever your reasons, your roll number can be found by logging into your online account; It is the 10 digit long number. When you perform a transfer you will need to specify all 3 details - the generic account number and sort code, and your unique roll number.

    Regards
