Parking Charge Notice from PCM

Hi,
We were visiting family the weekend and found a parking ticket on my car from PCM (UK) Ltd for £100 for parking in a visitors bay on Ingress Park Development in Greenhithe. Details on the ticket says the vehicle was parked in breech of the terms and conditions signposted on site. Do be honest, there were signs but didn't see them until I got the ticket (didn't look basically) but they were on the opposite side of the road.
What are my options? I know an appeal with get rejected so should I ignore this? What will win a POPLA appeal?
Although it says PCN, it's a Parking Charge Notice not a Penalty Charge Notice. By law, do these have to be paid?
Can I use the "it wasn't me driving and not going to name the driver" trick?
Any help or advice will be appreciated.

as its in england you should appeal as per the details in the NEWBIES sticky thread you have not read yet at the top of this forum
all questions are answered in that thread , no you should not ignore and due to POFA 2012 the RK can be held to account
read the sticky thread, learn the ropes and then appeal it0 -
Thanks! Will I get a letter in the post? All they did was to stick it on the windscreen.
Shall I appeal straight away or wait for the letter?0 -
If the car is yours/you know the registered keeper, then wait for the postal notification.
Again, this is all explained in the NEWBIES thread.0 -

check the flowchart in post #9 https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4922055
but as explained above, all the info you needed was in the newbies thread too0 -
Ingress Park was the location of the famous Observices v Thurlow case.
PCM (who replaced OPC) don't seem to like it when you mention that case ... (along with their charge not being a genuine pre-estimate of loss) and then send you a lovely letter telling you that the charge is cancelled!0
