how unlimited is unlimited?

Talktalk say their unlimited broadband is subject to fair usage policy but dont say what gig this is..anyone know?
I have a feeling my usage may annoy them :o
She has the loaded handbag of someone who camps out and seldom goes home, or who imagines life must be full of emergencies..

    They usually have a get out clause called "fair usage" At this point whatever it is they might do any of
    1. cut you off
    2. charge you extra
    3. Throttle your connection(most likely)

    Talk Talk are now advertising "totally" unlimited broadband as opposed to "unlimited broadband" That means that they are unable to apply any throttling or usage cap on the service. VM had to stop sending out snotty overuse threats in order to carry on advertising "unlimited broadband".

    I'd suggest you do just what you want in the way of downloads, streaming etc. because TalkTalk advertising says you can do just that.

    I doubt they'll be fussed about 100GB. These days that isn't a vast amount of data. My grandaughter managed to chew up the 2GB I'd left on my data SIM in an evening on Skype and YouTube when she was at my caravan :(
