Help,
I've Just been given a parking ticket in ASDA car park for not displaying my disabled "Blue badge" in a disabled parking bay. A genuine moment of forgetfulness. The ticket was issued by SMART PARKING also trading as "Town and City Parking" I have read various threads to ignore the ticket, is this for real? should I appeal? or should i Pay? any advice will be appreciated
Thanks
Derek

if you are in england or wales you should not ignore
you should complain to asda and insist on cancellation
you should also read the newbies sticky thread at the top of this forum and appeal it , first to smart , then to popla , as per the flowchart here in post #9 https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4922055
if its a windscreen ticket, do this after the NTK but complain to asda asap anyway0 -
Why on earth would you want to pay when for just a little effort you can make this go away and cost these chancers money into the bargain.
SmartParking - the well known oxymoron. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
