I've just received written confirmation from Savills that the case against me has been dropped with immediate effect!!!:D:beer:
Fantastic result and all down to the help I've had from kirkbyinfurnesslad, HO87 & coupon-mad and the Parking Appeals service.
It just goes to show that you CAN get the case against you dropped, with the aid of the right people, even at the last minute. Don't let the PPC's get away with extortion!!

It was a pleasure to be able to help you on this.
I was very annoyed when I heard what Hasbeen @ UKCPS were up to, given they knew your situation.
Although we run a paid service, being able to do this for you for nothing after getting your enquiry gave me a lot of pleasure and i am genuinely pleased this is over for you
Haswell I know you will be reading this. I have got my eye on your contracts with Savills. Legal and General investment management services are not happy campers.Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
As I stated on the other thread, Savills and UKCPs have history and they booted them off another retail park in 2010.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Good result well done all who helped.
Remember the DMUK case were UKCPS were supposed to pay them £1000 for tickets issued at New Mersey retail park, that was a Savills managed park.

I like this from DMUK's website:-
We do not seek out Government funding as this may impose upon our independence.
But they don't mind getting in to bed we very dodgy PPCs.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
This is exactly the type of case that should be presented to DMUK (I'll not name the individual in question) as evidence of the fact that there is a sizeable element of their constituency that they are not only failing to represent but, by taking the PPC shilling, are effectively disenfranchising into the bargain.
I'll happily stand corrected but I have yet to see any pronouncement from them in which they even acknowledge the applicability (or otherwsie) of the EA in such situations. Indeed, at times one gets the impression that they are studiously ignoring it.
It seems to me, sometimes, that if DMUK as avidly supported that section of the community it claims to then they should have been fighting delilah's corner not a forum. As they are as intimately tied up with PPC's would they have achieved the same result?
Does this page have any bearing? I think we should be told! - http://ukcps.net/dmuk.phpMy very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Really happy for you, this should never have got further once they knew your position. They are a disgrace even amongst the parking scammers! I hope they lose all their contracts with Savilles !When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
