Please help! Need to submit my defence by 9th April - I'm disabled & struggling!

Hi, I've been referred onto here by kirbyinfurnesslad via Parking Cowboys as I need help URGENTLY. :(

I was issued a 'ticket' by UKCPS in Oct 13 & didn't respond to any letters until they sent a Letter Before Action. I sent them an appeal, but because I have long-term physical & cognitive function disabilities, I sent it after their time limit & they rejected my appeal on those grounds & I got court apers a few days later.

I did tell them why it had taken me longer to submit my appeal, and indeed why I parked where I did - both myself & my child are disabled, so can I pull them up under the Equalities Act 2010?

I've been really ill again, not helped by the stress of this rubbish, so now only have a few days to log my defence online. I am really struggling to write my it because of my health issues, although I pretty much understand the points I need to address.

Please can you help me? I'm looking at you Coupon-Mad! ;)

I have another means of contacting C-M. I'll do so now.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Yes you can pull them on the Equality Act, it's a disgrace and unlawful that they have not made reasonable adjustments when they knew you wee disabled, to then go and make a claim after is IMO an illegal act as they are discriminating against you! They I'm sure are of the opinion that you won't or cannot defend this outrageous claim!

To UKCPS and Hasbeen you should hang your heads in shame, I know you are reading this!
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

However I did advise once defence is sorted I would lay rep for her in her local county court as it would be a pleasure!

Just to let you know that it might not look as though much is happening but let me assure you that there is a lot of activity on your case behind the scenes.

this sort of thing keeps on happening its abbout time that car park owners are bought to book over the actions of their agents, so that the antics by the likes of ukcps are put to a stop for once and for all.
and then maye with the ppc menace a thing of the past, this forum could just offer advice on where to find the cheapest/best place to park.

I will pm the OP with a defence this weekend - and there's more happening too. Posters reading this should be aware we don't take this sort of court case lying down and there's more help behind the scenes than on forums, in cases like this where it needs direct action. It will be updated when we get it cancelled or win in court.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
