We had a Lovefilm subscription a few years back, only cancelled because we never had time to watch the discs. We tried it again about six months ago and were surprised at how much worse the service was. When we were on the free trial, we got high priority titles and v fast turnaround, then, literally from the day we started paying, the turnaround time went from a couple of days to a week or more and we never got another high priority title from then until we gave up on it a couple of months later. (V annoying as we watched the first series of Breaking Bad and then couldn't get the rest!) We were joking that their storeroom was just one shelf of DVDs, most of them scratched. Such a pity as, when it worked well, it was a brilliant service. I'd have been happy to pay a little more each month if it actually worked (rather than paying relatively little for an "unlimited" service which was anything but).0

I've had an Amazon account for years, & bought hundreds of CDs & music downloads. Amalgamating the account with Lovefilm has been a complete debacle.
First I lost access to my rental list, which was an inconvenience as I was sent films that were not high on my rental list. For a few weeks. I couldn't see my list, amend or add anything to it. After several complaints, this was restored at the cost of loosing all the details of my 14 year old Amazon account. Loosing my saved basket and address list is a pain, and they've lost business as I've not used them to send birthday presents. What's most inconvenient is that I no longer have access to the Amazon Cloud player, and all the songs that are supposed to be accessible and downloadable to my new computer..
I have lost count of the emails I have sent since the amalgamation. Some have been ignored, or I'm sent a polite reply saying I have two accounts with the same email address. This is no help whatsoever, since it's their technical glitch that has caused the issue..
I've had enough of being fobbed off with excuses. Does anyone know which organisation I may complain to?0
