Hi, I've merged a duplicate thread into this one to keep all the info in one place0

@54Druids - I have asked a board guide to merge your threads
URGENT - You need to answer whether you live in Scotland or not asap.
If you have identified yourself as the driver or you live in either England or Wales you need to submit a POPLA appeal urgently as you are in danger of running out of time - if you haven't already.
A POPLA appeal must be submitted within 28 days of the code being generated and you received your rejection letter on 7/4/14 - if you haven't already missed your chance then you may only have until midnight today 1/5/14 to submit an appeal and you will need to do so on-line.
Check your deadline using the POPLA checker linked here

Check out the POPLA appeal in this thread - it will only need a small amount of editing to be suitable for you

Sorry I am in England, moved last year and didn't update my profile but will do now. I am waiting for Aldi manager to come back to me about a receipt (although feel its like trying to find a needle in a haystack coz all I said was it was a cash receipt, gave him the time on the parking ticket and said I would have just bought my usual stuff such as bread, meats, etc so god knows what they will come back with). Should I not be waiting, just did what Rachel from Aldi told me too. When I called I was told the ticket was on hold.Smile though your bank is breaking:)0

Well lets hope they cancel it for you - because you may now be out of time to submit a POPLA appeal.
Did you check your POPLA code using the link I gave you in post #13 above?
If not do it now because if you're lucky today may be the deadline.0 -
My prediction is that by the time they find it you will have run out of time to appeal. Then they will decline to cancel.

Appeal to POPLA.
I think the OP is already out of time - their rejection letter was received Monday 7th April which probably means was issued/posted Friday 4th April and deadline would have been yesterday.
Maybe it was issued Saturday 5th if they are very very lucky in which case their deadline is today.0 -
Sorry, I sold out. I did get the receipt and then lost it. I have not had any further letters since the above but couldn't handle the thought of getting a court letter so I caved in and today went on to the website and paid it. Yes I know they are b.......s and I know its wrong but Aldi has lost a customer and the fact that I have had no further letters tells me that Aldi have the power to intervene on this so they certainly wont get my business. I may be 40 quid worse off but at least I will sleep tonightSmile though your bank is breaking:)0

So basically you ignored all the advice given to you and paid for something when you didn't need to. I wish I had enough money that I could just chuck it down the drain. I am sorry if I sound harsh but you came here asking for help then ignored it.
You could have won this at the POPLA stage and cost the PPC at the same time. Instead they have won because you gave them money to which they are not entitled.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

Oh dear oh dear. £40 which you never owed and which they were never entitled to. I wonder why you posted on here and then ignored the advice that was given? To be honest it's a kick in the teeth to the regulars on here who volunteer a lot of their time and effort to help people in your situation.0
