11", seems the best size for me, (sorry matron), but I pay for them

90p from local GCentre, but they are bullet proof, overall cost is about how much/how long.:money:, not just the cheapest unit cost
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Loads in my Morrisons 2 weeks ago. They were charging 99p for 8 if I remember correctly.

I wouldn't use them for final potting of tomatoes, as they're a bit small. I use plastic bag pots which I've recycled for some years, but if I didn't have those, I'd use plastic sacks of the type chicken food, fertilizer etc comes in and create my own grow bag.

I use them every year, I think they are fine for final potting, my tomato plants do ok in them.

You're happy with them, fine, but I find my bag pots dry out fast enough once the plants are around full size. Consistency of dampness in growing media is key to avoiding splitting.

I think their suitability depends on which varieties are grown, location and a few other things, like how much free manure one has to stick in the bottom!
