The Quant's House Price Diary

my house value has increased by 7 unicorns since december0

Latest zoopla estimate was £425k, however I discovered that a neighbour accepted an offer on their property for £430k a couple of months ago.
After factoring in rises since then I estimate it to be worth £450k, something Zoopla now agrees with after a well worded email.
I seem to be stuck around £460k mark at the moment, but anyway its been a healthy profit in my first year of ownership.
Thanks the Hamish et al who finally persuaded me to take the plunge into home ownership, best thing I ever did!0 -

You're pretty bearish on Wood Green. Didn't you know that they're getting a railway? They'll have the horseless carriage before you know it.0 -

Yeah, zoopla estimate is £508K, however this has a 6 month lag as its based on LR stats. I reckon its now between £525K-£550K based on differentials when I bought.0 -
