I have generally stopped checking house prices since I bought, the only times I have actually looked is when discussion here leads me to it.
In short house prices won't make me any richer, the booking I got for my business this morning will.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Luckily for me I am of the knowledge the glass is always full it is just what percentages are gas and liquid which change.
From there a reduction in interest rate would of course be welcomed, but I would rather prices didn’t rocket and my LTV was in fact based on my own hard work rather than others suffering with higher prices.
If you care that much about other people suffering from house prices, why don't you when it comes to selling, sell your property for 3 times average income for your area?
That will show you really care instead of that pretending to care by posting it on a forum.0 -

He already 'explained' that one.
He can't. He has to play the game.
Other home owners will have to lead the way here.
Not Percy. His nobleness only applies on internet forums.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -
Next door have told me, they were quite chuffed that they had two offers for asking price and they had the power to decide who was the lucky couple.
I thought you said we were at the start of another boom ?
Just getting your asking price doesn't sound anything like the start of a boom.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

That's all very noble and superficial of you but it's just forum froth very distant from reality.

As mentioned before whatever I 'gain' from HPI will in turn be lost in the HPI of the next property.
As mentioned I could sell tomorrow at £60k and really help out a FTB, the problem is to go and buy another house of similar size its going to cost me £90k-£100k, so in one foul swoop I have cost myself £40k to go nowhere.
Meanwhile said FTB will probably sell a week later for £100k and be quids in.
So you whole arguement of me having no basis as I won't plummit myself into financial ruin is a rather silly wouldn't you agree?
As said I am now in the game so have to play it, I have to use not earned HPI to pay somebody elses not earned HPI.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

You're just as bad as the HPI junkies that you mock.0 -
Stop trying to pretend you're something that you're not by pretending to have morals.
You're just as bad as the HPI junkies that you mock.
Yep you got me, as a never got chance to on bulls eye I can't wait for HPI to get me a speed boat...
I really do like how me consistantly repeating I don't want house prices to rise makes me a HPI junkie... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
