No.
It's comparable to the mortgage free wannabe forum where you got plenty of peeps saying how well they are doing in their quest to be MFW. Some do well, others do not so well. It's about sharing experiences, it's a money saving board after all.

However, if he's genuinely a quant, then he is probably sick of mixing with people at work who can afford far nicer houses than he can, so it's possibly a response to that.0 -

For the glass half full person this would be really difficult to grasp.
Luckily for me I am of the knowledge the glass is always full it is just what percentages are gas and liquid which change.
From there a reduction in interest rate would of course be welcomed, but I would rather prices didn’t rocket and my LTV was in fact based on my own hard work rather than others suffering with higher prices.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
