You must be kicking yourself, then, having arranged your finances in such a way that you are unable to benefit very much from it, as well as having to go home every night to a house far less pleasant than you could otherwise have owned.
Admittedly there is some truth in that, however my finances have been arranged in such a way that I don't have all my eggs in one basket.0 -

The trouble is that conrad went to same jackanory school as the quaint. Maybe they could try out bull each other.0 -

The plan is to call the top of the market. We are at the beginning of another boom, it will be sustained for quite a while. But no doubt a bust will come at some point. The clever bit is working out when this will happen.
right .... so you admit that your 'gains' are conditional on looking through your crystal ball to guess the top of the market? And you admit that we are in a bubble that will eventually burst?0 -

There's a graduate intake every year, starting, I believe, on around £40k plus perhaps up to £10k bonus, and it really is open to all. No-one's father gets them a job, no-one is excluded over nationality, gender or race, you just have to convince the recruitment team that you have something to offer.
I'm not going to name my bank, but all of the big ones will tend to offer a similar deal. Deutsche, JPM, BOA, Citi etc.
If it genuinely interests you, do some research, and apply. We can always find a place for the right people.0 -
Perhaps the OP could give us an update? I'm sure we can't wait! :rotfl:0

Latest zoopla estimate was £425k, however I discovered that a neighbour accepted an offer on their property for £430k a couple of months ago.
After factoring in rises since then I estimate it to be worth £450k, something Zoopla now agrees with after a well worded email.0
