Honeymoon Tips

Hi everyone!
After 2 years of saving, my husband and I have finally saved enough for a honeymoon. We're going to sharm el sheik for 2 weeks in may.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips or any ideas of what we can do to make this extra special.
Obviously money is an issue and we don't have much spare but I was just keen to hear anyone's ideas.
Thanks

Seriously?
You're travelling to an unstable Middle Eastern country with Foreign Office warnings against all but essential travel and you're worried about money.
I'm worried about your sanity frankly. Good luck getting travel insurance that comprehensive. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Currently there are no warnings about travelling to sharm. We haven that a problem with travel insurance either.
Thank to for your concern though.
If anyone has any honeymoon tips then I would be really grateful.0 -

Not according to the link you provided:-
The FCO advise against all but essential travel to:
the Governorates of Beni Suef, Minya, Asyut and Sohag
the Governorate of South Sinai, with the exception of the area within the Sharm el Sheikh perimeter barrier, which includes the airport and the areas of Sharm el Maya, Hadaba, Naama Bay, Sharks Bay and Nabq.
Have a great time Introuble. I know of a few people who have visited Sharm for the diving, I don't know if the budget will stretch to that but it's supposed to be amazing.
Otherwise I'd make sure you have a few surprises for OH ( I'm thinking of the naughty kind) and I'd book one really nice memorable meal. And take lots of photos.0 -
Parts of Egypt are a no-go, but apparently Sharm el Sheikh is ok. It's is a well-known tourist spot. Good for swimming and sunbathing but maybe a bit too hot for much else :rotfl:
Some info here:

My daughter go to Luxor area each year but went to Sharma last year.
They found that being a touristy area everything was that more expensive, but otherwise, enjoyable and felt secure enough.0 -
Ignore hysteria on here.
Sharm is fine.
A must do is the desert night trip. It is simply mindblowing to be out in the middle of the desert when the stars come out.
Have a great honeymoon:beer:0 -
I love Sharm, we stay in Nabq every November. What do you normally do on holiday, so we can offer different things to do. We might suggest things you would do anyway.
It's very hard to distinguish a honeymoon from normal holidays, at least it was for us but that's because we do lots ln our holidays anyway, if you know what I mean.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
If you can go diving, brilliant, but there's still loads to see just snorkelling - but please swim in a shirt or water resistant sunscreen so your back doesn't burn? There's just no comfortable position with a sunburned back.
Take loads & loads of photos.
Maybe cover right up (& hair!) & visit the Al Mustapha mosque? New & said to be beautiful - certainly an interesting change from the beach?
Visit a market & have a haggle for a bracelet to remind you? Doesn't need to be overly expensive, but one you like & properly & thoroughly haggled over!
Hope you both have a Wonderful time!0 -

Seriously ?
Are you jealous or something ?
Why on earth would you post a link that says the total opposite of what you are claiming ?
I don't think it's the OP's sanity that is in question :rotfl:I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0
