Unlocking Nokia Lumia 510
Hi. My Nokia Lumia 510 is locked to Tesco Mobile. I have obtained a PUK code from them. Do I enter this code when I put a new sim in (i.e. a TalkTalk sim) When I put this sim in, the phone will not work until I put a 'pin' in, is this the same as the PUK code ? or will TalkTalk provide me with this code. I'm confused !!?:mad:

no you need to get it unlockedDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

A PUK code is what you use if you have failed to enter the SIM unlock code (PIN) correctly and blocked the SIM.
What you need is to get the phone (not the SIM) unlocked.
For Tesco Mobile I believe you contact the "Technical Team". I understand you can call the "Technical Team" directly on 0845-300-6660.
It is likely to be free to unlock if you have had the phone for 12 months. I would also try a SIM for a different network anyway as it may not actually be locked.0
