Same here - I need to kit three kids out with them - they all have wide feet and can't fit normal wellies. Two of them also wear orthotic insoles, so we've been told that Georgies are the way to go as they have the moulded footbed and the width. Will admit it would be nice to find some to fit me too (also has wide calves).

Also need to track down Beach in size 14/15 for hubby - can find it online, but again could really do with it on the high street.

    :)

  • Hi Croc experts,

I am a croc wearer myself had some chocolate caymens for a couple of years now. Now a guy I know is off on holiday soon can not wear flip flop type things but wants some holiday shoes, I opened my mouth and recommended cros, and have now been given the job of buying him a pair - anything you think suitable he says:rolleyes:
He looks like he would have slim feet so am I right thinking he would be better of with Caymens than beach?
Also want a fairly neutral colour so I was thinking of khaki, but I've not seen them, someone tell me they are not too much like a babies nappy in colour ;)

    Thanks
    xx

Definitely Cayman as the Beach are wider. I like the Khaki colour and I don't think they look like a baby's nappy at all, either clean or dirty :rotfl: :rotfl:
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

10% off in September at Taylors using the word coupon on orders over $35

I'd also suggest a garden centre for the Croc wellies as I'm sure I've seen them there.

Will have to see if I can get to Webbs after work tonight - we're supposed to be going to the Moreton show tomorrow (in a cow field) and then a car run in Coventry on Sunday (again in a field) - could be mucky with all this rain!
  • Bought some Georgie wellies 2 weeks ago for hols. They are great as I could not get any wellies to fit my calfs. As they only come up half way they are ideal with extra wide calfs. Height from base of boot is approx 9" and around the outside of the top is 16". Hope that helps people. Im normally a 6 but ordered a 7 and these are great with some thick socks. Came in a nice drawstring bag and i paid £6 extra for next day del by 1pm as wanted wellies desperately as lots of dog walking through fields and by lake on hols. Boots were £35 from Jellyegg.

I'm going to stop reading this thread - the very mention of '10% off' gets me placing yet another order
