Hi Dolly.
Just having a catch up on your diary. Wow 13% of your debt gone, that is amazing.
Glad your DD is having a good time, it must make it easier knowing that despite things she still has a good relationship with him.
well done on the NSD's and eBay. I really must try getting rid of some bits, i've never sold on eBay before and I have loads of stuff I never even look at let alone use.
have a great dayLBM- 01/04/2014

Hello DFW's!
Ooops havent signed in for a while, I took a few days off to spend with my daughter during her school holidays. We had some lovely days and fab weather (surprising for Ireland in April). We even managed a day trip to a theme park out of this fortnights wages, and I didn't dip into emergency fund so I am proud of myself.
Still working away on the debt, I got paid again last week so I have made payments to everything and updated my signature - delighted to see I owe below €19k now.
Ebay sales have been going ok, I sold 10 small items so far making about €40 which is not massive but it is from junk lying round my house so I am happy, I used the €40 for petrol this morning and felt fantastic, its the little things. :money:
Hope you all have a lovely day today

Morning DFW's,
I am struggling to keep this updated, I had promised myself to update at least once a week. Nothing much to report though, I sold a few more items on eBay, just small things but managing to cover most of this weeks petrol costs with the money so I'm delighted with that. I still have to do a major declutter and put up some more items for sale, hoping to do that this weekend.
No more progress on debt but payday is this Friday so will make a few more payments then and get overall total down by another €250.
Hope you all have a lovely day today, weather is miserable this side of the Irish Sea today!LBM Jan 2014: €21,746.34

Morning DFW's!
I got paid Friday so have made payments off everything reducing debt by €184.89 this fortnight. I have just realised I have paid over 3000 euro off my debt since I took my head out of the sand in January. I'm chuffed with that, a long way to go but finally feel like I am getting somewhere!
I hope you all have a lovely week xLBM Jan 2014: €21,746.34

Hi DFW's!
Sorry I haven't been on in a while, I've been so busy in work lately.
Not much progress to report on the debt front, this has been a slow fortnight due to car trouble but the good thing is I had my emergency fund so nothing else added to my debt (which is how it would have went before!) I have made minimum payments on everything but with interest applied it has only made a dent of about €30. I have to try build back up my emergency fund now and then get back on track with the debt snowball.
I also had a few back to school bills (yes I know already, they haven't even finished up yet!) and family celebrations so couldn't contribute to snowball at all this fortnight. But its all ok as min payments still made and total is lower than it was. I'm still going in the right direction.
I still have to get my @ss in gear and get stuff listed on eBay soon.
Miserable rainy day in Dublin today but spirits are still not dampened!

Hi DFW's,
I'm still plugging away at debt here and at the same time trying to build back up my emergency fund. So the snowball is at a slow pace until my emergency fund comes up a bit.
I have a busy few weeks coming up with family birthdays, holidays and I have just received a wedding invite from a work colleague. I am not sure if the budget will stretch to that although I would love to go. I really want to stay on track with snowball so will think about it a bit more.
Signature updated and I have 15% of my debt gone, not sure why but seeing that percentage gone today makes me feel like I am finally getting somewhere, like I know now that I will do it, I feel like I have broken my bad money cycle. I am no longer putting anything on credit cards, I think about every purchase and I finally have a bit in savings for emergencies. Like this week DD needed to go to emergency doc and the money was there, usually it would go on a card. And I have paid over €3200 off debt this year. Sorry I'm rambling now but sort of feel in control of money for the first time ever! :A

Morning DFW's,
Hope you are all having a lovely Saturday? I am meant to be cleaning my house and mowing the lawn but so far I've just managed to clean one room and have a cuppa and a browse on MSE, I get lost reading other's diaries, very inspiring!
I am still working on building back up my emergency fund so the debt snowball is on hold for the moment. I got paid yesterday and made payments on cards & loan so the rest of my wages are for mortgage, bills and groceries. And hopefully a bit to emergency fund! It feels good to make the payments first and get them out of the way, I feel way more in control moneywise than I ever did before. Signature updated and I love seeing the overall debt total decreasing
I still have to do a declutter and get stuff up on eBay, I know there is stuff there I can sell but keep putting it on the long finger. DD is away to her dads house for the weekend so I really should get going with that this weekend while I have the time and peace & quiet!
I am aiming to have a No Spend Weekend, the only thing I have to buy is petrol for Monday morning to get to work. It's mucheasier having NSD's when DD is not around lol.
The sun is still shining in Ireland, we've had fab weather all this week, so I should get my housework done and get out for a walk, feeling so lazy today though.
Hope everything has a lovely weekend!
